Our June monthly webinar is dedicated to "Medical Professionals' Role in Clean Sport".
Medical professionals play a key part in supporting athletes and must understand the anti-doping landscape and their accompanying responsibilities within this.
In this introductory session we will discuss the role of medical professionals in protecting clean sport and cover key topics to help them effectively support their athletes, including:
- The Prohibited List
- Therapeutic Use Exemptions
- The role of team physicians at events
We are pleased to welcome three expert panellists to the session: Dr Lucienne Attard, member of the ITA's Therapeutic Use Exemption Panel, Dr Carole Okoth, member of the ITA's Health & Clinical Expert Advisory Group and Dr Mark Stuart, the ITA's Drugs, Health & Development Senior Manager.
As always, we will leave time to answer your questions live, and are pleased to deliver these webinars in English with simultaneous translation to four additional languages – Arabic (العربية), Spanish (español), French (français) and Russian (русский).
