The CMAS Introductory SCUBA Experience Training Programme is an entry-level recreational diver training programme that is commonly referred to as a “resort course”.  This training programme aims at providing interested persons with an introductory SCUBA diving experience, to a maximum depth of ten (10) meters under the direct supervision of a CMAS Instructor, whilst using air as a breathing gas, in a safe manner.

This means that if you are a certified CMAS instructor and have a specialty certification, you can also teach that particular specialty to other divers. Alternatively, if you don't hold a specific specialty certification but are interested in teaching a particular specialty, there are options available for you as well. You can co-teach the specialty course with an experienced Specialty Instructor who holds the necessary certification. In addition, if you have a specialty in mind that you would like to teach but don't have the specific certification or a suitable co-instructor, you can request assistance from a CMAS Three Star Instructor.
