new: CMAS-TC FACT SHEETS
A new section on CMAS TC website: "Fact Sheets".
Many of you are looking for information about diving, how to teach it and the CMAS recommendations.
This new section of our website has been created to provide you with an overview of these issues and reliable sources. Now more than ever, in the age of the internet, the reliability of sources is important.
One of the first fact sheets available concerns the concept of no-stop dives or no-stop limits (NSL) improperly named no-decompression limits (NDL).
This is an old concept which, in the age of dive computers, can lead to errors in analysis.
In any case, this concept should not be treated as absolute.
To minimise the risk of DCS, it is sometimes better to make mandatory stop dives than to aim for the longest no-stop limit possible.
