Mental Health in Sport - ITA Webinar
📅 Thursday 31 July | 🕑 14:00–15:00 CEST
CMAS is pleased to promote the next session of the Monthly Webinar Series organised by our partner, the International Testing Agency (ITA):
"Mental Health in Sport" – featuring Camille Cheng, three-time Olympic swimmer, seven-time Asian Games medallist, and IOC Mental Health Ambassador.
Camille will share her personal experiences with mental health during and beyond her sporting career, offering valuable reflections and advice for athletes and their support teams.
A 2022 report by the World Anti-Doping Agency highlights that athletes struggling with mental health may be more vulnerable to doping when they lack healthy coping mechanisms. This webinar aims to open an honest dialogue on the importance of mental well-being in sport and offer tools for prevention and support.
Moderated by Nikki Hamblin, OLY, from the ITA Education Team, the session includes a live Q&A.
