CMAS Sports Committee Meeting at CMAS Headquarters in Rome

On November 23, 2024, the CMAS Sports Committee convened at the CMAS Headquarters in Rome. The meeting brought together the Directors of CMAS Commissions, CMAS President, Sport Committee President, General Secretary, and Treasurer to address key topics shaping the future of underwater sports.

The comprehensive agenda included discussions of strategies in many fields, such as Communication, the new CMAS portal, updates on the technical management of competitions, and the CMAS calendar and contracts. Other focus topics included the roles of Technical Delegates and Judges and the organisation's commitment to clean sport through its anti-doping initiatives.

Looking ahead, the World Underwater Federation is advancing on multiple fronts, with a strong focus on evolving IT support for athletes, Federations, and cooperating agents. We continue to strengthen our collaboration with future event organisers and remain committed to fostering the growth and innovation of underwater sports.
