CMAS 8th World Championship Freediving Depth 2024 in Kalamata: October 2-13, 202

Kalamata, Greece, is set to host the CMAS Freediving World Championship from October 2 to 13, 2024, bringing together top athletes from around the world. Co-organized with Greek Underwater Federation and local clubs, the event promises to be one of the most exciting in the sport's calendar.

Apostolos Bellos, CMAS Freediving Director, announced: "We are thrilled to have the full support of key sports authorities and to witness a record-breaking year for participation, with 145 athletes from 45 countries competing."

Global freediving legend athletes such as Alexey Molchanov, Davide Carera, Mateusz Malina, Stephane Tourreau, Petar Klovar, Alessia Zecchini, Alenka Artnik, Marianna Gillespie, Alice Modolo, Kateryna Sadurska, Simona Auteri and many more, will test their limits in Kalamata's ideal conditions, setting the stage for potential new world records.
