Artificial Reefs and Underwater Cultural Heritage: Shipwrecks and their contribution to marine conservation and local economies

On Thursday, May 23, starting at 9:20, the Seminar “Artificial Reefs and Underwater Cultural Heritage: Shipwrecks and their contribution to marine conservation and local economies” will be held. This event aims to promote sustainable and responsible tourism in our coastal areas, especially in the field of Marine Ecotourism.

The seminar will feature the participation of prominent national and international speakers, experts on the subject, who will share their knowledge and experiences in the development of practices that combine the preservation and generation of new underwater ecosystems, with the enjoyment and awareness of those who wish to know them.

The event will take place in the Red Auditorium of the Viña del Mar Headquarters of Andres Bello University and has the support of the Ecotourism Administration program, the Chilean Navy, ValpoSub and others.
