Last April 29th FAAS, represented by its president, Mr. Francisco Lacase and the MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT AND CIRCULAR ECONOMY of the Province of Cordoba represented by the Minister Dr. Victoria Flores, signed a mutual Collaboration Agreement with the objective of PUTTING VALUE ON THE WATER SPECIES OF THE PROVINCE OF CORDOBA.
Among the planned actions, the following stand out:
- A) To collaboratively develop environmental sustainability tasks linked to underwater activities as an organizing and promotional vehicle.
- B) Coordinate joint actions for the design and implementation of training and dissemination content strategies promoting the development of comprehensive educational processes aimed at building an environmental perspective through sport and underwater activities.
- C) Promote from sport and underwater activities, an agenda of dialogues and specific collaboration agreements, in reference to local realities, encouraging citizen participation and initiative.
- D) Organize training, environmental recovery activities, courses and all kinds of activities to promote, disseminate and raise awareness on issues related to environmental recovery and protection, good practices that allow the care of natural resources and promotion of all the postulates contained in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
- E) Promote joint actions in public policies that promote environmental care through specific action protocols.
The parties agreed to create a COORDINATION UNIT to implement in a coordinated and joint manner the projects and actions referred to in this agreement.
FAAS once again reaffirms its commitment to the protection of our natural heritage through significant strategic alliances. We continue to work together to leave a cultural legacy of respect and commitment to our planet water.
