SERIES: MANTE RIVER: EXPEDITION TO THE DEEP, CHAPTERS 1 AND 2

Nuevo Diario brings you the premiere of its new series: Mante river: Expedition to the Deep, a production by documentary filmmaker Oliver Velázquez Quijano and Bruno Espinosa de Alba, Director of the National Commission for Underground Diving of the Mexican Federation of Underwater Activities.

Synopsis: Over four episodes, we'll see how a group of cave divers dedicated to conducting expeditions in Mexico and other parts of the world ventured south of Tamaulipas, Mexico, where the source of the Mante River is located. In the series, we'll see the risks divers face when descending into the depths of the Mante River and its surroundings.

Chapter 1: RETURN TO THE SOURCE OF THE MANTE RIVER 2015
In this first chapter, we'll see how a group of cave divers led by Bruno Espinosa explored the source cave of the Mante River, Tamaulipas, to establish a new lifeline, create a map, and obtain biological samples, along with a group of Mexican scientists.

Chapter 2: CARING FOR WATER
In this second chapter, we'll see the explorers reflect on the importance of bodies of water for living beings, which is why we must care for them and not pollute them.
