European Shark Week opens with call to "Make the PUSH" to protect Europe's sharks - European Shark Week 2011

Both events took place at lake Störitz in a picturesque surrounding with relatively good weather in the south-east region of Berlin (Germany) and were hosted by the German Diving Federation (VDST). From 10th until 17th of September more than 100 athletes from 12 countries competed in six different disciplines.

Olga Taldonova (Russia) and Olexsander Zolotov (Ukraine) proved to be the most succesfull athletes, they both took three Gold medals. The most succesfull nation in the World Championship was the team of Russia. The national team of Hungary was the best team of the Junior Championship.

CMAS delegates, organizers of the Championship, as well as the citizens are glad and proud that they were part of this magnificent event, showing great sporting achievements.
