CMAS in Asia

CMAS President Anna Arzhanova and Secretary General, Hassen Baccouche, went to Singapore from April 10 to 15, 2014 invited by Singapore’s Federation (SUF). SUF invited all CMAS Representatives to Singapore too.
Important meetings were held to take care of the situation of each National Federation and the role that Asia may play for CMAS development in the technical, sports and scientific area.
Furthermore, CMAS Representatives were invited to attend ADEX 2014, being one of the most important diving exhibitions in the Asian- Pacific Zone.
On that occasion, the President and the Secretary General had very constructive talks with the main actors of the diving industry: equipment manufacturers, diving agencies, environment agencies, specialised media…
CMAS thanks a lot Singapore’s Federation (SUF) for the important available booth and for the invitation addressed to all Asian Federations to attend the event.
