Rio de Janeiro's Yacht Club will host the CMAS World Cup for Clubs

Rio de Janeiro's Yacht Club will be home for all the teams competing at the 2nd edition of the CMAS World Cup for Clubs. 

RDJYC is one of Brasilian's very important institutions, a very traditional club that is more than a hundred years old and connected with all big Yacht clubs around the world. 
Many sports tournaments were organized there, and RDJYC has also a spearfishing team that has been active since the 1950s. 

World spearfishing champion from 1959. Bruno Hermanny and from 1963. world-freediving record holder Amerigo Santarelli were a members. Except for them, members were athletes who were regularly between the top 10 at CMAS World championships. 

RDJYC had one of the biggest and most important spearfishing communities in the 1960s.  

Also, RDJYC was home to Olympic sailing competitions and many world sailing championships, and this year will be also.
