One of the great protagonists of the 4th CMAS Masters Finswimming Open Water World Championship was Angelo Sesana. The eighty-year-old - yes you read that right- Italian athlete managed to win a total of four gold medals. 1km Bi Fins, 3km Bi Fins, 3km Surface and 4X1km SB relay. The 18th Junior World Championship took place in June, from 19 to 24, in Cairo, Egypt. The future stars of the discipline participated in a very high-level event. 

An athlete that really shined was Nikol ORTEGA from Colombia, with three World records.

About a month ago, the 3rd World Masters Finswimming Championship took place in Cairo, Egypt. A total of 305 athletes from 70 teams participated in the event.  The athletes represented 22 different countries, from all 5 continents, giving a special character to the event. CMAS is paying special attention to the masters’ activities and masters Finswimming is spearheading these efforts.
