The athlete Mr. Denis Volkov (RUS) has been sanctioned by the CMAS Doping Hearing Chamber as follows:

  • 2 years suspension. The period of ineligibility is May 16, 2012 to May 15, 2014
  • Disqualification of results obtained in the Final of the CMAS Aquathlon European Championships 2012, including forfeiture of medals, points and prizes.
  • Anti-doping rule violated according to the World Anti-Doping Code Art. 2.1: Presence of a prohibited substance, its metabolites or its markers in an athlete's sample.
